COVID-19 Response
OrionJets and our partners have implemented additional measures to safeguard the health of passengers, pilots, and crew to ensure well-being across every touchpoint of the travel experience.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented the following measures:
Pre Flight
Our team of experts will review all flight details and request additional information about your previous or future travel plans and ensure that all medically appropriate questions about possible exposure and symptoms are clarified before the flight. Also, before boarding, our crew will ask additional questions to minimize any risk. No newly exposed or symptomatic passenger is allowed to travel on the OrionJet aircraft. There are thermometers on board that are available for passenger checks if appropriate.
Aircraft cleaning
The OrionJet crew ensures that airplanes are cleaned after each flight with a disinfectant that has been shown to be effective against Covid-19. A deep cleaning is scheduled every 2 days with our authorized cleaning teams using products that have been shown to be effective against the virus. When deemed necessary, an even more extensive cleaning process is available.
Crew
In order to minimize the risk of our crew being exposed to the virus, and therefore our customers, all our crew's trips are closely monitored. Health and temperature checks are recommended in the morning and afternoon, as well as the use of masks on all flights. A focused approach to social distancing at all times is a key element of our operation.
Introductions and greetings
In order to minimize the risk of exposure, it is recommended to avoid handshakes between our crew, clients, as well as any other supplier.
Staff awareness
Daily updates on the evolution of the situation are shared with our staff with a group of experts, relevant operational information and recommendations for its implementation.
